The Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP) is an autonomous organization under the Department of Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, Government of Telangana. Established to reduce rural poverty and empower disadvantaged communities, SERP works primarily through Self-Help Groups (SHGs), Village Organizations (VOs), and Mandal Mahila Samakhyas (MMS). Its mission is to improve the socio-economic status of rural families by promoting sustainable livelihoods, financial inclusion, women’s empowerment, and community-led development.
